At Dogtree Pines, volunteering isn’t just about helping dogs — it’s about becoming part of a compassionate community that gives senior dogs the love, dignity, and comfort they deserve in their golden years.
Our sanctuary is home to rescued senior dogs who may be overlooked elsewhere because of age, medical needs, or special care requirements. Here, they are cherished, supported, and given the peaceful, enriched lives they deserve. Volunteers play a critical role in making that possible.

Getting Started
If you’re interested in volunteering with Dogtree Pines, we’d love to hear from you.
Step 1: Complete our Volunteer Application that you can find under "Forms" on website.
Step 2: Attend a brief orientation & training session.
Step 3: Schedule your first volunteer shift where you will mirror another more experienced volunteer until you are comfortable.
Volunteers are welcomed gradually and we limit the number of volunteers to ensure the best experience for both people and dogs. Volunteer availability may be adjusted seasonally or based on sanctuary operations.
