Once she arrived, Edith (Edey) is a little more critical than we thought. She sure is a big, beautiful girl, and was probably absolutely stunning in her prime and then someone surrendered her to animal care in the valley and here she sits. Keep her in your thoughts. We hope we can do our “Dogtree Pines Miracles” and give this gal a little bit more quality time.
It’s with a very heavy heart that we have to share the news about our Phoenix (Edith/Edey). Unfortunately, we had to let her go last night. Her little body had just taken a toll that we couldn’t help her recover from. We had the best of hopes but the right thing to do was to let her move on. She had a few shining moments but overall she just struggled and, as much as we hate to lose any dog, it was the right thing to help her over the rainbow bridge. We know a lot of people were hoping for a good outcome along with us and we are so very grateful and appreciative for all your support and also for the donations that were given in her honor. Even though it was a short period of time, we loved her very much. We’re sad she’s not here but feel good that we tried to help her and gave her love in the end.
