I saw this first photo taken at the Humane Society of Yuma in April 2021. I thought  it was just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. Unfortunately, I  was not in a position to adopt him at that time.  As luck had it, AARF rescued him and he ended up in Prescott. A gal on  TikTok did a video on adoptable dogs and that photo quickly went viral with 2.3 million likes. Grumpy was an Internet star!!!  I went out to  visit this character and quickly realized that he needed to come home with me. Marley fought chronic your infections which caused a head tilt and partial paralysis in his face as well as deafness. It took the better part of nine months to get a handle on those ear infections. He  became grumpier with age and became difficult to handle especially at the vet office but we loved him so very much for who he was. He lived a good life for almost a year and a half with us and we estimated him to be almost 15 years old Grumpy was especially attached to his dad and  they spent a lot of quality time together. We will miss his big huge personality. Fly high sweet Marley, we loved you so!
